EDWARDIAN WATERCOLOUR of River Scene & Boat by the Artist M.C. WHITE 1911
1 in stock
This stunningly painted River Scene is an original watercolour from the Edwardian period. Dated 1911 and signed by the Artists M.C. White in the bottom right hand corner. The piece has exquisite colours, soft and pastel, real sharpness in its details, a professional touch, and excellent rendering of nature. Measuring 42 x 33 cm with glass and ornate shell adorned gilt frame. CONDITION: In very good condition with no particular loss or damage. Two marks in the sky which look part of the original painting. Artist’s paper applied on board. Board at the back is quite old, but it is better to leave it as it is, as it does not show. The frame is ornate with shell design – it has flakes that have come away. See Photographs.
